Ocean Rosy Mini Research Scholarship 2023
We are thrilled to announce the establishment of the “Ocean Rosy Mini Research Scholarship 2023 - ORMRS23”, an initiative aimed at supporting and empowering an exceptional undergraduate student in his/her ongoing mini project research. This scholarship is a testament to our commitment to fostering academic excellence and encouraging innovative research within our student community.

Scholarship Name: Ocean Rosy Mini Research Scholarship 2023
Amount: Rs 45000.00
Duration: 1 - 3 months (Mini research project)
Eligibility: This scholarship is open to all current undergraduate students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievements, a passion for research, students from low-income families and a strong interest in conducting a mini project.
This Mini Grant targets local project conducted by a local student during his/her academic years focusing on marine chondrichthyans (sharks, rays, skates, and chimaeras)

Application process
An online application form has to be Submitted along with CV and Supervisor’s recommendation letter.
This grant may be used to support an existing project or to launch a new project. There are no restrictions on the use of funds, but please be specific on how funds will be used (e.g., funds will be spent to purchase scientific equipment).
Only one application will be considered from one applicant.
All applications will be reviewed by the OR scientific committee and require final approval from the Foundation’s Directors.

The awardee is expected to provide the Ocean Rosy with project updates and photos that can be shared on the Ocean Rosy's social media accounts, including FaceBook, Twitter, Instagram and web page. Additionally, the awardee is expected to work with the Ocean Rosy Education Committee to produce a blog on the project within 12 months of award receipt. Awardee should agree to give a webinar open to the public on the supported project within 06 months of receiving the grant.
This small grant is part of the Buddhi Maheshika's (co founder - Ocean Rosy) project funded by the Save Our Seas Foundation.
